Nov 22, 2010 · in 09, they came out with the 450R, they still made the standard 450, but in 10, they dropped the 450 in place of the 450X, so there use to be one 450, now there is a 450R and a 450X... the newer bikes are fuel injected, aluminum frame, better seat, better suspension, they made a ton of upgrades, they are 2 totally different bikes.
