Jul 5, 2021 · I imagine regular wood logs would heat the oven more quickly. I really like the pressed wood logs. They burn so clean that I don't have much ash management to worry about and they fit the log holder perfectly. If I am making 4 or 5 pizzas I'll add a third log after the second pizza comes out. I included a picture of my 13 inch peel in the oven.
