Jul 7, 2008 · Scott Kalitta was a drag race car driver recently killed in what they called a "freak" accident. He had returned to racing many years after retiring from a successful and safe career. He was the son of Comrad,"Connie" Kalitta who also raced and owned the team.His cousin Doug Kalitta is also a driver for the team.
