IMO, Amy was perfect in the first 2 Adventure games. She had her love for Sonic, but was also striving to be a strong, independent character. I think there should definitely be an additional separation between Adventure 1/2 Amy and Heroes-Unleashed Amy.

Amy is pretty fast, fast enough to somewhat keep up with sonic, and she is also really strong, strong enough to somewhat keep up with knuckles Amy is a jack of all trades, she is really good at a lot of things but not the best at anything, but still she is powerful enough to hang around the strongest beings in the planet and not be left behind
