The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 4:35 a.m. on Thursday valid from 7 p.m. until Friday 4 p.m. for Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.

We now expect up to five-hundredths of an inch of freezing rain over almost the southern half of Lower Michigan. This is why the NWS- Grand Rapids and the NWS- Detroit added two rows of counties to the winter weather advisory.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Thursday.Widespread freezing rain and drizzle will continue to increase Wednesday evening, causing untreated roads, sidewalks, and driveways to become icy and slick.
