Former U.S. surgeon general Vivek Murthy is returning to the board of directors at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

A search is underway in Alaska after a plane with 10 people on board did not arrive in Nome when scheduled, officials said.

Nine passengers and one pilot were on board the Bering Air flight from Unalakleet to Nome, Alaska, officials said.
