Juliette Binoche will preside over the jury for the the 78th Cannes Film Festival, festival organizers announced Tuesday. Binoche will succeed last year's jury president, Greta Gerwig, making this the second time Cannes has had back-to-back female jury heads.

French actor Juliette Binoche will succeed Greta Gerwig as jury president of the Cannes Film Festival at the upcoming 78th edition.

Juliette Binoche, who won an Oscar for her portrayal of a nurse in "The English Patient", was named as jury president for the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.
