Nine days after city officials put the owners of an apartment high-rise on notice for several code violations, Omaha officials confirmed that City View has passed its fire inspection.

The Legislature will have a hearing on LB3, the proposed bill to turn Nebraska into a “winner-take-all” state, at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

Omaha officials said the fire alarm at City View Apartments passed the inspection, so no one will be forced to evacuate the premises on Friday.
