I Baked the Bisquick Coffee Cake So You Don’t Have toA photo of the back of a Bisquick box listed recipes for things like pancakes, biscuits and shortcake, but most memorably, a coffee cake that called for Bisquick in its batter and crumb topping.
This cake is light, fluffy and captures the distinctive flavour of those little caramelised biscuits perfectly. It pairs beautifully with a cup of coffee. Preheat the oven to 160C/140C Fan/Gas 2½.
Spread the caramel on top of the biscuits and then spoon the coffee ice cream on top ... Dust the top of the cake with cocoa. Slice and serve with chocolate sauce.
