K-pop stars NewJeans have changed their name to NJZ after splitting with their label ADOR, which is a subsidiary of HYBE.

K-pop group NewJeans have unveiled their new name, NJZ. The quintet is made up of members Haerin, Hyein, Danielle, Hanni and Minji. They have rebranded themselves after announcing their unilateral exit from the label Ador on Nov.

NewJeans members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein look to the future with new music, headlining ComplexCon Hong Kong, and changing the group name to NJZ.

One of the biggest-selling K-pop acts, NewJeans, will perform under its new name for the first time at ComplexCon Hong Kong in March.

The battle between NewJeans and Ador and its parent company Hybe has intensified. Today, the K-pop group has revealed they’re changing their name to NJZ. They’ve also announced that they’ll be headlining ComplexCon Hong Kong.

Despite an impressive breakout in the US, K-pop girl group NewJeans hit an unexpected roadblock in their path to stardom. Last November, the quintet declared their intention to end their contract with HYBE-backed label,
