A SWAT operation was underway Monday morning, January 27, in Teaneck, drawing significant law enforcement presence to the area. The Bergen County SWAT team was stationed at Hill Street and Ayers Court from around 7 a.

The Akron SWAT team is in the Highland Square neighborhood after a man barricaded himself in an apartment. According to police, the man barricaded himself in an apartment on South Highland Avenue after a domestic situation. Police said it was unclear if the incident happened at that location or at a different one.

According to officials, At approximately 5 a.m. on Monday, Akron police, members of the SWAT Team and negotiators responded to a residence on South Highland Avenue. SWAT was called after the suspect refused to exit the apartment.
