Windsor Jewelry first opened on Illinois Street before moving to its current spot on Meridian Street, near East Washington Street. It was owned by Sig Asher, who then passed it down to his son-in-law, Herman Logan. Greg and Lynn Bires then took over the business in 1998.

A more than century-old Indianapolis jewelry store won’t close after all. Windsor Jewelry on Monument Circle has new owners: local business leaders Fernanda Beraldi and Ed Broecker, who bought the business on Feb.
