As the investigation into the 34-year-old mother from Pontiac, Michigan who police say abandoned her three children continues, crews cleaned up the townhome that investigators say the children lived in for years.

Authorities said the rooms were full of garbage and were covered in mold and human feces. The three children had no access to a working bathroom.
