Saquon Barkley's high school teachers and coaches say he worked hard and did things the right way as a student-athlete.

PHILADELPHIA — Saquon Barkley knows the lighthearted criticisms of his basketball skills. His former Whitehall High School basketball coach, Jeff Jones, the school's athletic director, Bob Hartman, and even Penn State football coach James Franklin have remarked over the years about Barkley's brief career with the Whitehall Zephyrs.

Eagles fans have Saquon Barkley's high school coach to thank for their run to Super Bowl LIX. The running back was close to quitting the game.
