The Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Bulls pulled off a three-team deal that will send De’Aaron Fox to the Spurs and Zach LaVine to the Kings. It’s a fairly complicated trade involving a total of 12 players and picks, but the upshot is that the Spurs are giving up a lot to acquire another star player to pair with Victor Wembanyama.

The Kings, Spurs and Bulls reportedly coordinate a 7-player, 7-pick trade headlined by De'Aaron Fox going to San Antonio.

The Bulls will generate a $26 million trade exception for Zach LaVine by taking Kevin Huerter into the existing exception from the DeMar DeRozan trade with Sacramento, and by taking Tre Jones into their unused nontaxpayer midlevel exception.
