Struggling fabric and crafts seller Joann plans to close about 500 of its stores across the U.S. — or more than half of its current nationwide footprint. The move, announced Wednesday, arrives amid a tumultuous time for Joann.

According to Joann’s restructuring website that lists the locations impacted, 13 locations in Virginia are set to close, including Christiansburg, Martinsville and Lynchburg. It's unclear when the stores will close.

The initial store closing list for crafting retailer Joann includes at least one location in all 50 states, except Hawaii.
