After being deported from the United States, a group of Indian nationals was sent back from Amritsar Airport following a thorough investigation. The deportation comes as part of ongoing scrutiny of visa holders and immigration procedures in the US.

The deported individuals include 25 women, 12 minors, and 79 men. In addition to the deported Indian nationals, the aircraft will have 11 crew members and 45 US officials onboard. Besides Punjab, the deported individuals are from Haryana,
