Francisco Lindor, the next Mets captain? Here’s what he has to say about that
With the Mets getting ready to retire their last captain, David Wright’s No. 5 on July 19, the opportunity is there to bestow Lindor with the honor. On Saturday, the 31-year-old was asked if he views himself as something of a captain for the team. Here’s what Lindor had to say about potentially becoming the organization’s fifth captain:
