Mikel Arteta has not ruled out the possibility of Arsenal making a move to sign a free agent in an attempt to solve their striker injury problem. Arsenal are currently without Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, leaving them with only three fit first-team forwards for the next month at least.

Arsenal have no immediate plans to sign a free agent in response to the hamstring injury that is likely to keep Kai Havertz out for the rest of the season. The German forward sustained an injury during the club’s warm-weather training camp in Dubai and was due to face further tests on the club’s arrival back in England.
