Down in the southside, in Virginia Beach’s Town Center, WAVY’s Keagan Hughes saw about 10-inches of snow near the Nordstrom Rack. As a life-long Virginia Beach resident, Keagan said this is the most snow she has seen in the area in many years.

Meteorologists at the weather service said there is still a very good chance of 8 to 10 inches across the Tidewater region.

Meteorologist Myles Henderson says widespread snow will blanket the region through this afternoon and evening.
