SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Seven San Antonio police officers were shot while responding to a “suicide in progress” call and the suspect was later found dead inside an apartment after a standoff, the city’s police chief said.

Seven San Antonio police officers were shot by a barricaded suspect Wednesday night, the city's police chief said.

According to San Antonio Police Chief Bill McManus, on Wednesday, Jan. 22, four police officers were shot after responding to a "suicide in progress" call in Stone O
