Notre Dame is one win away from its first national championship since the 1988 season. Do the Irish get it against Ohio State?

In previous years in South Bend, Notre Dame rarely played true freshman, especially on offense. In some very rare occasions, some would break the starting lineup, but, most of the time, you'd see some come in an play in clean up minutes towards the end of games.

But their impact goes beyond South Bend as Notre Dame earned $4 million dollars for qualifying in the college football playoff, another $4 million for making it to the quarterfinals, an additional $6 million for reaching the semifinals, and another $6 million for the national championship game.
