MACON, Ga. — As a winter storm hits Central Georgia, 13WMAZ is receiving photos and videos from viewers basking in the rare winter landscape gracing Central Georgia. Weather forecasts suggest that Central Georgia could see anywhere from one to, in some places, four inches of snow.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for much of the central and southern Georgia area. Here's what to expect.

Meteorologists had the highest confidence of snowfall in middle and west Georgia compared to other areas in the state Tuesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service, which means Macon was set to see snow Tuesday into Tuesday night.
