DELAWARE – Governor Matt Meyer (D – Del.) has signed an executive order dealing with housing. The order calls for the creation of a one-stop shop for permitting and zoning in affordable and workforce housing projects.

The new Governor and Lt. Governor of Delaware were sworn into office on Tuesday morning at Delaware State University, one of America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Democrat Matt Meyer has officially been sworn into office as the state's 76th governor. Meyer took the oath of office at Delaware State University in Dover. Former senator Kyle Evans Gay was also sworn in as Lieutenant Governor.
