In 2024 the Coral Reefer Band tested the waters to see if they could still find an audience without Jimmy Buffett at the helm, and arena-filling crowds turned out. Now they’ve landed a 2025 gig opening for some classic-rock heavyweights.

The Doobie Brothers will release their first new album, "Walk This Road," in more than 40 years on June 6, 2025. A North American tour in support of the album starts on Aug. 4 in Clarkston, Michigan. Special guests on the tour will be the Coral Reefer Band, Jimmy Buffett's touring and recording band. Live Nation Entertainment

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will be at Pine Knob Music Theatre on Monday, August 4. Tickets go on sale on Friday, February 14 at 10:00 a.m. The Coral Reefer Band will open for the Doobies. The Doobie Brothers will continue their love affair with Pine Knob Music Theatre when the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers kick off their summer tour Aug. 4 at the Clarkson amphitheater, tour officials announced Monday. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster, with presales starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
