Sheffield United have completed the signing of defender Rob Holding from Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season. The Athletic previously reported that the 29-year-old defender was attracting interest from the Championship side.

Rob Holding has joined Sheffield United on loan for the rest of the season. The 29-year-old has played only once for Crystal Palace since signing from Arsenal in 2023 for £4m. In October, Palace manager Oliver Glasner said Holding was training individually following a disagreement.

Sheffield United have all but confirmed a deal to sign Rob Holding from Crystal Palace. The defender is expected to sign on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season. The Blades have already signed four players this season,
