International Paper said Thursday, February 13, 2025 that it will close its Red River containerboard mill in Campti, LA.

International Paper Co. on Thursday announced the closure of four of its plants, including the containerboard mill in Natchitoches.

The Campti facility, known as the Red River Mill, produces about 800,000 tons of containerboard annually and is the largest private employer in Natchitoches Parish.
