Kodai Senga spent part of his winter in rehab mode, with the goal of arriving at spring training ready for a normal buildup toward the season.

During a roughly 10-minute chat with reporters on Tuesday, the day before the first official workout for pitchers and catchers at Clover Park, Kodai Senga referenced his physical condition in almost every answer.

After missing most of last season with a shoulder injury, Mets right-hander Kodai Senga said he is healthy and ready to assume a full workload in 2025.

Kodai Senga seems to believe that the climate in particular ensured that Roki Sasaki would never end up signing with the New York Mets.

The rotation needs to be prepared to carry the Mets' load and a healthy Senga can take a big part of it on his shoulders.
