The Gallup poll — which sampled 1,001 U.S. adults between Jan. 21 and Jan. 27 — found opinions toward the men have fluctuated significantly over time.

Both are in negative territory. But it’s better to be Trump than Biden. Trump has a 48% to 50% for a negative two percentage points, compared to Biden’s negative 18 points (39% to 57%). Otherwise, it’s George W. Bush 52% to 34% favorable/unfavorable (+18) and Bill Clinton 48% to 41% (+7).
