Simone Biles and husband Jonathan Owens went on an African safari for their honeymoon — where they had a close encounter with a lion. The pair married in April of 2023.

Both Biles and Owens spent the last two years focusing on their respective careers, which appears to be why their honeymoon was postponed. (Biles competed in the 2024 Summer Olympics, taking home four medals. Owens, an NFL player, signed with the Chicago Bears last year .)
