The wreckage of a military helicopter involved in a mid-air collision with a passenger jet that killed all 67 people on both aircraft was recovered Thursday from the Potomac River, federal officials said.

An American Airlines regional jet collided with a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter on Jan. 29. Both aircraft plunged into the Potomac River near Reagan Airport.

All 67 victims have been recovered from the Potomac River following a deadly mid-air collision between an American Airlines plane and a military helicopter. 60 victims were passengers aboard American Airlines flight 5342.

Authorities recovered all of the 67 victims from the Potomac River less than a week after an American Airlines flight collided with an Army Black Hawk helicopter in the Washington, D.C., area.
