Ninja Gaiden 2 Black disappointed some fans due to it keeping Sigma's reduced enemy count. A talented fan has already fixed that with a mod that restores the original game's spawn rate. The mod also lets players improve the delimbing rate and deadliness of the Guillotine Throw.

Black is a remaster done right and is evidence of why the original was one of the best in the genre for its time.
