Princess Beatrice has given birth to a baby girl, Buckingham Palace announced, and she will be a new cousin for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Beatrice, the daughter of Prince Andrew, and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, named their new born Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi.

Buckingham Palace shared the joyous news: "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, born on Wednesday January 22 at 12.57pm, at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London."
