A US military aircraft carrying 104 illegal immigrants hailing from various states landed here on Wednesday, the first such batch of Indians deported by the Trump government as part of a crackdown it

After being deported from the United States, a group of Indian nationals was sent back from Amritsar Airport following a thorough investigation. The deportation comes as part of ongoing scrutiny of visa holders and immigration procedures in the US.

As per a PTI report, the US military plan C-17 is carrying immigrants from Punjab and other neighbouring states.
