If you ascend from Mürren the trail is relatively straightforward I assume. If descending from Allmendhubel the sign posting is HORRENDOUS. I would not recommend this trial to anyone.Full review by grahamsccs

Do you need hiking boots for the Allmendhubel trail to Murren or would good sneakers be ok?
A:
We did this trail in running shoes (in June, dry weather) and it was fine. I didn’t regret skipping the hiking boots.
