Questions & answers

Q:
Hi, are there public restrooms/bathrooms nearby?
A:
Yes there are washrooms outside the entrance to the castle on the hill right by the windmills.
Q:
Where are the better vantage points to stop and photograph the windmills? Thanks
A:
Our bus stopped at the top where the windmills are. Make sure you take the time to have a walk around as the town is below the other side of the hill.

Consuegra is 45 min drive from Toledo and unless you can find a tour to the windmills area - which might not be very usual... - you would not have any other option but to rent a car. In addition Consuegra alone has little more to offer than the windmill site. It's very nice but with a car you can enjoy a few more places worth visiting nearby. On the other hand, if you only stay one night in Toledo, it could be better focusing on the town which is very charming with great restaurants and walks.
